Test a food run

This pilot uses sample shop prices and riders. A test order does not request a real delivery, charge money or confirm stock. Use fictional names, phone numbers and addresses.

What is saved

When you create an account, the server saves your name, email address and a salted password hash. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days; signing out revokes that session. Email verification and automated password recovery are not available during this pilot. Orders are linked to your account so you can restore an active run on another device. The server also saves your order, delivery details, chosen coordinates, price snapshot, status history and rating. Staff with the pilot access key can see delivery details to test dispatch. The browser stores an order reference and secret access key so you can return to your order. Treat shared devices accordingly.

Photos and videos

Optional shopping references are stored privately on the server. You can attach a photo or short video to a shop or individual item. Only your account and staff handling submitted orders can retrieve them. Avoid including faces, documents or other private information in test uploads. Removing a reference from your draft detaches it; uploaded files remain in pilot storage until the operator removes the dataset.

Location and contact details

Location access is optional. Choose a neighbourhood instead if you prefer. Coordinates are sent when you review your basket, and stored when you place an order. Contact details are sent only when you submit an order. This pilot does not send SMS or share information with payment providers. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them.

Testing, cancellation and ratings

You can cancel a test order before shopping starts. After that, ask your pilot organiser to cancel it in the staff console. Staff control delivery updates; the map is illustrative and does not show live rider GPS. You may submit one rating after delivery.

Access and removal

Delete your account by signing in and confirming your password. This removes your account, sessions, orders, ratings and uploaded references from the active pilot database, including any open test order. The pilot operator controls existing backups under its retention plan; contact your organiser about backup removal or other test data. Starting another basket removes the previous order access key from this browser, but does not delete its server record. Do not use this pilot for urgent food needs.
